I extend my warm welcome to you at Javi's Mercado de Antojitos Distributors (JMAD). 

My name is Javier Silva, a dedicated individual with a bachelor's degree from Eastern Oregon University, despite the challenges I have faced. I am a 30-year-old entrepreneur who is visually impaired and resolute in my pursuit of a career in the field of marketing.

 It is a fact that many individuals with disabilities encounter barriers to employment. However, I am immensely grateful for the support and encouragement I have received from outstanding individuals such as Fred Sotelo from Xteca Beer, Bob Sanchez from Casa Sanchez, and Fernando Diaz from Proyecto Diaz, who have played instrumental roles in opening doors for me.

Thanks to the unwavering encouragement from Bob Sanchez, JMAD has come to fruition. At JMAD, we are committed to offering an exquisite selection of authentic and delectable Latin American Antojitos (snacks), ensuring that these culinary delights can be enjoyed by everyone. We invite you to embark on this flavorful journey with us.

Greetings, I am Victor Daniel Silva, and I have chosen to end my retirement to lend my support to my son, Vic Javi, and to assist his customers in savoring the delightful flavors of Latin America. This cuisine is increasingly gaining global recognition, capturing the taste buds of Latino Millennials, discerning "Foodies" who yearn for authentic Latino dishes, and the general public.

I wholeheartedly endorse Javi's vision to establish a unified online marketplace, representing a digital mercado for Latino small businesses. Our primary aim is to showcase products that are not only exquisitely delicious but also sourced from legitimate and environmentally conscious origins. We are dedicated to ensuring that our products are not only mouthwatering but also ethically and environmentally responsible.

In addition, we are committed to reaching out to individuals within the disability community, offering them support and encouragement to embrace entrepreneurship in their future endeavors.

 Hello, my name is Briana Rose, and I am Javi’s niece. I am also a
college student attending Los Medanos College with plans to pursue a
degree in psychology with a minor in journalism. I want to use my
experience with journalism and photography to support JMAD as its
creative director. I believe JMAD offers a unique platform for Latino
businesses to promote their products and educate consumers on the
diversity Latin America has to offer. I believe JMAD has an amazing
future that I would like to be part of.
